I met Samantha years ago, and we hadn’t seen each other in quite a while—but in that time, we both got married and had three babies between the two of us! When she reached out for cherry blossom family photos in Traverse City, I was so excited—not only to meet her sweet family, but to catch up and see her again in such a beautiful season of life.
And can we just take a second to appreciate how stunning she is?! I mean, seriously. Samantha and her family looked amazing, and photographing them was such a joy. We met up in Traverse City over Mother’s Day weekend, which made it even more special because… it was her very first Mother’s Day! Cue the happy tears.

Most family sessions last about 45–60 minutes—just enough time to get plenty of sweet moments without anyone getting too tired (especially the little ones!).
